LeBron Raymone James Sr. is a American basketball player who is a player for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Nicknamed King James he is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players ever and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over who is the greatest basketball player. James won two Olympic golds and four NBA titles. James added more points during the playoffs. He's had the second highest number of career points, and has the seventh-highest number of career assists. James is part of the NBA All-Stars in addition to 18 All NBA Teams. He also has Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James has played in 10 NBA Finals the third most throughout his career, which includes eight straight times between 2011 and the year 2018. In 2021 James was named to The NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first basketball player in NBA history to accumulate at least 10,000 career points rebounds and assists. James was a player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a potential NBA star. He was a prep-to pro and first picked with his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. In 2004, he was named NBA Rookie Of The Year, he quickly established himself as a premier player in the NBA receiving the NBA's MVP Award in 2009 as well as 2010. James failed to win a title with Cleveland and quit the city to become a "free agent" in the year 2010. This was revealed in the TV special The Decision.
