Anita Barone

Barone played in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld's fourth season as Gail Cunningham, a chef who was looking to buy Elaine Benes' shoes. The early 1990s saw her was a regular on the cast of Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone played the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller in the initial Friends appearance. The show ended her time as she was looking for a more full-time role she was taken over with Jane Sibbett. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 until 1996, and The War at Home from 2005 to 2007. In 2000, Barone played a part in the show Daddio. Her television credits are Desperate women Curb Your Enthuasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone received the 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in the movie One Last Ride. Barone began her character as mother to Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - three years after The War at Home concluded the film's run. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones as the ex-husband of Barone's character, for two seasons.
